“It will be a great day when our schools have all the money they need,
and our air force has to have to bake-sale to buy a bomber.” – Robert Fulghum.

When I was in elementary school, the students were asked to sell chocolates; I have never been a good sales person. I tried. I walked door to door in our neighborhood. Perhaps I sold a few? I don’t remember. What I do remember is eating almost the whole box, rather than selling it, and my parents having to pay for it. It is ironic then, that at the age of 43, I am going to try to begin an on-line business.

I say this because for the past three years, Inspire and Illuminate has been the place where I previewed all of my writing and poetry. For three years I thought that is how I would earn a little extra income. Yet as I get ready to launch my first book Heaven Under Construction, a memoire told in poetry format of my battle with breast cancer, I realize I have to get into business—specifically, the business of on-line marketing.

I began researching this a year ago, and as I did, I realized that I have all the skills I need to do this. I also realized that people, who had never been teachers, were teaching on line and launching products and were making a LOT more money. Don’t get me wrong, I like my job. I like the steadiness it provides and the health-care benefits; however, a year ago my husband lost his job. I figured this could be a way for our family to supplement our income. So, I began researching.

What I found is that many on-line marketers don’t even really teach anything that great or give their customer anything of real value. Also, I could not find a person who would show someone step-by step everything they would need to be successful, or, if they did, it was very costly. So recently, I had the idea of beginning the blessed-based business. A business that would show, specifically people who had zero business skills, how to start their own business within one year’s time, at an affordable cost. In fact, I’ve decided that for one year, I will give away everything I have learned over the last year away for free. The main reason for this is that, while I am confident I can make my own book launch a success, I am not sure I can really help people start their own on-line business success. I would not want to charge people for something if they didn’t get real value out of it. Also, I believe people should have access to these teachings, with the job markets being as they are.

In short, this was a really long introduction to say that over the next week I will be slowly converting this web site into “ The Blessed-Base Business.” In the process, I will be archiving all of my previous postings. I truly appreciate all the of the followers I have gained over the past three years and will continue to write poetry daily, which can be found on As I See It.

So stick with me if you want to see how this venture goes, or if you are interested in learning how to market your own writing. Option two would be to unfollow me here and keep reading my daily poetry postings on As I See It. Option three stick with both sites. 🙂

Wish me luck on my new venture, and I wish you luck on yours!

Peace and Blessings,
