This summer I am working on the fourth revision of a diary I keep while going through cancer. Each day I will share one rewritten entry. My goal is to have the fourth rough is now complete. Over the next five days, I will be sharing my last five entires. Where I go and what will I write after that? Stay tuned to see!

Day Three Hundred Sixty-Five

In stillness,
I found peace

In reflection,
I found God

In Evaluation,
I learned that
it’s the uncomfortable moments
that help us grow the most.

In asserting my own positivity and gratitude,
not only do I hear,
“Hold On Pain Ends,”
but “Help Others find Peace Everlasting.”

And that is a vision
I can hold onto
believe in.

Now, I must go into world
and preach the good news
to all
who will listen.

The End

    1. Thank you. I have been cancer free for three years. I am pretty sure I have mild PTSD from all I’ve been through, but I feel that makes me better, not worse. I enjoy the quite, simple moments much more. 🙂
